COMPANY PROFILE
EXEDY was founded in 1950 in Osaka, Japan, and is known throughout the world for supplying quality powertrain products. Our pursuit of perfection and the assurance of safety underlie our framed quality and reliability. Our advance engineering and patented innovations have made us the leading OEM manufacturer in the world for clutches and other powertrain components.
EXEDY is also the undisputed world leader of performance sports and racing clutches.
GLOBAL NETWORK
EXEDY’s global corporate activities are expanding in Asia, America, Europe, Oceana, the Middle East, Mexico and Japan. We have structured an optimal production system from a global point of view to sustain the top level of quality. We are also continuously and actively challenging in the manufacture of new products utilizing our solid technologies, such as motorcycle clutch production in ASEAN countries.
Today, the global EXEDY Group has 52 companies in 25 countries that provides high quality products to our customers around the globe.

EXEDY Singapore, established in 2015, is the regional hub of EXEDY Corporation Japan. Based in Singapore, we distribute genuine EXEDY clutches and drivetrain components across Southeast Asia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Nepal and Taiwan. With world-class quality, reliable supply, and strong customer support, we deliver performance and trust to the automotive aftermarket.
The Manila Representative Office of EXEDY Singapore connects the Philippine market to EXEDY’s global expertise in clutches and drivetrain components. We support local distributors and customers by providing product information, technical assistance, and coordination with EXEDY Singapore to ensure genuine, high-quality EXEDY products reach the automotive aftermarket in the Philippines.

HISTORY & MILESTONES
Daikin Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is established.
Head office relocated to Neyagawa City
Developed and started to develop racing clutches for the automobile manufacturer from this time.
Daikin RM Co., Ltd. (now Dynax Co., Ltd.) is established.
Ueno Factory opened in Mie.
Daikin Clutch USA is established (now EXEDY Global Parts).
Kawagoe Factory opened in Saitama.
1995
- Company name changed from Daikin Seisakusho to EXEDY Corporation.
- Ferrari team has won the F1 Canada Grand Prix.
- Started sales of the "HYPER MULTI" Series Sports Clutch.
QS-9000 & ISO9001 Certified in March

Started sales of the "HYPER SINGLE" Sports Clutch with aluminum cover
Started sales of the street-use carbon clutch “HYPER CARBON SERIES” (later changed the name to CARBON-R)

- ISO/TS16949 Certified in June
- Started sales of the lightest model of metal clutch, the “COMPE-R” Sports Clutch.
- Started sales of the world’s first carbon clutches with a damper, the “D-CORE” (later changed the name to CARBON-D)
- Started sales of the model with a disc damper, the “COMPE-D”, based on the COMPE-R
- Started sales of the new generation disc “ULTRA FIBER DISC”
- Established an in-house nursery school, "A Kiddyland," at the company's headquarters.
- Started sales of the HYPER SINGLE UF Sports Clutch
- Provides dry multi-plate clutches to the FIAT YAMAHA TEAM participating in MotoGP
- Won series championship in MotoGP
Won series championship in MotoGP (FIAT YAMAHA TEAM captured the triple crowns for the third successive years.)
Established special subsidiary company EXEDY Taiyo

- Constructed our current Head Office.
